Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated After School Club Play Worker to join our team, committed to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children aged from 4 to 11yrs.

Duties
- Organize and lead a variety of playful activities tailored to different age groups, encouraging participation and enjoyment
- Support children in their daily routines, including snack times, rest periods, and transitions between activities
- Ensure the safety of all children by monitoring play areas and intervening when necessary to prevent accidents or conflicts
- Foster inclusive play environments that promote teamwork, respect, and positive social interactions
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and team members to share updates on children's progress and needs
- Assist with transportation duties, including walking the children to the club from school in a safe manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment
Skills
- Proven experience in childcare, nannying, teaching, or similar roles that involve working with children
- Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine passion for supporting children's growth and happiness
- Ability to plan engaging activities that stimulate learning while ensuring safety at all times
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or needs of children and the team
