Events Coordinator
Kenect Recruitment is currently recruiting for an organised and customer-focused Events Coordinator to join a busy hospitality venue renowned for delivering exceptional weddings, banquets, and special events.
Job Summary
The Events Coordinator will play a key role in planning, organising, and coordinating weddings and events, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and guests. Working closely with operational teams, you will help oversee event details from initial enquiry through to successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to wedding and event enquiries and assist with bookings
- Conduct venue showarounds for prospective clients
- Meet with couples and clients to discuss event requirements and arrangements
- Coordinate event schedules, room setups, and function details
- Liaise with kitchen, bar, and banqueting teams to ensure smooth event delivery
- Support the coordination of weddings and events on the day
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and guests throughout their event
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times
- Assist with administrative duties relating to event planning and organisation
- Support the wider hospitality operations team as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in events coordination, weddings, hospitality, or a customer-facing role
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT and administrative skills
Salary & Hours
- Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- 40-hour working week
- Working pattern of 4 or 5 days per week
- No Sunday working
- Flexibility required during busy event periods
