Gymnastics Coach – Part-Time / Full-Time Opportunity

We’re looking for a fun, dynamic and professional Gymnastics Coach to join our team and help us take the standards at our club to the next level.
This is an exciting opportunity for both young coaches looking to kick-start their gymnastics coaching career and experienced coaches who are ready to help build something truly amazing.
Whether you’re looking for part-time hours alongside other commitments or hoping to develop a full-time coaching career, there is real potential for the right person to grow with us.
The role will primarily involve evening and weekend coaching, making it a great opportunity to fit around other work, studies or commitments.

Your Responsibilities
As a Gymnastics Coach, you will:
- Develop and deliver engaging training programmes designed to improve gymnastics skills across a range of ages and abilities.
- Provide high-quality coaching and instruction on gymnastics techniques, routines and safe training practices.
- Monitor and evaluate athletes’ progress, providing constructive and encouraging feedback.
- Create a positive, motivating and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, confidence and personal development.
- Organise and lead effective training sessions while ensuring all safety procedures and equipment requirements are followed.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with athletes and their families regarding progress, achievements and areas for development.
- Work closely with the leadership team to maintain and continually raise the coaching standards within the club.
- Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to help our club continue to grow and develop.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about gymnastics and genuinely enjoys helping athletes develop.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in sports coaching, particularly gymnastics.
- Strong coaching and teaching skills, with the ability to motivate athletes of different ages and abilities.
- A recognised gymnastics coaching qualification or relevant certification (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt coaching and training programmes to meet individual athlete needs.
- A strong understanding of gymnastics safety, injury prevention and appropriate training practices.
- A professional, positive and enthusiastic approach.
- The ambition to develop as a coach and contribute to the growth of our club.
