Scaffolder – Dounreay
Altrad are currently looking for an asbestos operative trained (ARCA / ACAD) Scaffolder to support the delivery of works on a newly established project at Dounreay.
The work pattern for this position is 10/4 (10-day fortnight rota), 07:00 to 17:00. This is a fixed term position ending March 2028 approx. Start date is July / August pending successful SC Clearance.
Pay rate: £26.00 p/h
Key Responsibilities:
- Erection, modification and dismantling of scaffolding
- Supporting asbestos removal and associated project activities
- Working safely within controlled/asbestos work environments
- Compliance with SG4 requirements and site safety procedures
- Inspection and maintenance of scaffold materials and equipment
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety
- Working closely with supervisors and site management teams
- Completion of required checks and documentation
Key Requirements
- Must be SC cleared or willing to undergo
- Must be asbestos operative trained ARCA or ACAD
- Valid Scaffolding Card
- Nuclear/site experience desirable but not essential
