We are hiring a Food Kiosk Team Member / Food Preparation Assistant to join our busy supermarket food kiosk team.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a food preparation, kitchen assistant, or hospitality role in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help prepare fresh sushi and ready-to-eat food, maintain excellent food hygiene standards, and provide friendly customer service to shoppers throughout the day.
Whether you have experience in food service, catering, hospitality, or retail food preparation, or you are looking to start a career in the food industry, we provide full training and support to help you succeed.
This is a part time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh sushi and ready-to-eat food following company recipes and preparation standards
- Assist with food preparation, ingredient handling, and stock rotation
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to supermarket customers
- Work as part of a small team in a busy food kiosk environment
- Ensure the kiosk is clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout the day
What We’re Looking For
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn – full training provided
- Comfortable working in a busy food preparation or hospitality environment
- Good attention to detail and pride in preparing quality food
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
- Previous experience in food preparation, catering, kitchen assistant, hospitality, retail food, or customer service roles is helpful but not essential
