Role Overview
We are seeking two caring, enthusiastic Nursery (Early Years) Practitioners (NVQ/CACHE Level 3 in childcare) to work on a full-time, permanent basis in a high-quality, bilingual and Montessori-inspired nursery. One position in Tufnell Park and a second in Crouch Hill, supporting children aged 6 months to 4 years.
This role is ideal for practitioners looking for stability and excellence in a nurturing, language-rich early years, Montessori environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS
● Create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment
● Deliver play-based, child-centred activities
● Support children’s communication, social skills, and emotional wellbeing
● Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of care and progress
● Observe and support children’s development as required
● Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies
● Support school projects and events
● Any other ad-hoc tasks in line with the job role.
Requirements
● NVQ/CACHE Level 3 or above in Early Years / Childcare, on the Government website list: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-qualifications-list-uk-only
● Montessori diploma ideal but not mandatory (leading to a higher salary)
● Experience working with children aged 0–5 in a nursery or early years setting
● Good understanding of the EYFS framework
● Strong communication and teamwork skills
● Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
