As part of our continued business growth, we are seeking a highly analytical Business Performance & Strategy Analyst to support senior management by providing business intelligence, commercial analysis and strategic recommendations to improve business performance.
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will analyse commercial and operational business data, monitor marketplace performance, identify business improvement opportunities and prepare strategic reports to support evidence-based decision-making by senior management.
The role requires strong analytical ability, commercial awareness and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
- Analyse business performance across all e-commerce sales channels.
- Evaluate sales trends, profitability and operational performance.
- Identify business improvement opportunities using analytical techniques.
- Monitor business KPIs and prepare regular management reports.
Commercial Performance Analysis
- Analyse pricing performance and profitability across product categories.
- Evaluate customer purchasing trends and buying behaviour.
- Analyse sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Assess commercial risks and recommend performance improvements.
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct market research into industry trends and competitor activity.
- Analyse competitor pricing strategies and product positioning.
- Prepare market intelligence reports for senior management.
- Identify emerging opportunities within the online retail sector.
Business Intelligence
- Analyse operational data to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Review inventory performance and stock movement trends.
- Analyse fulfilment efficiency and customer service performance.
- Produce business intelligence reports and strategic recommendations.
Reporting & Strategic Support
- Prepare weekly and monthly analytical reports.
- Present research findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop dashboards and KPI reporting tools.
- Support strategic business planning through evidence-based analysis.
