Assistant Manager Vacancy
Location: Idyllic East Coast of Scotland
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our management team at our inn, which features a cosy bar, a 40-seat restaurant, 13 guest rooms, and a substantial garden bar.
About the Role:
As Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business, sharing responsibilities with our existing management team. Your duties will include:
Overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent service across all areas.
Training and supporting our current staff to maintain high standards.
Assisting in the development of the business in preparation for the busier seasons.
Ensuring smooth shifts, whether mornings or evenings.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a management role within a similar setting (hospitality, bar, restaurant, or inn).
Strong leadership and communication skills.
A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
A hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving and team development.
Must have your own transport, as the location may not be accessible by public transit.
Important Information:
This is not a live-in position, so suitable local accommodation or transport is essential.
5-day week.
Mix of morning and evening shifts to support business needs.
