Henrys Škoda Glasgow is looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our friendly, long-established, family-run team.
As one of our skilled technicians, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all customer vehicles are inspected, maintained, and repaired safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards in line with both company and manufacturer guidelines.
We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service, and you’ll be working alongside a dedicated team focused on quality, customer care, and continuous improvement.
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a consistently high standard, in line with manufacturer and legal requirements
- Identifying and diagnosing faults through a Vehicle Health Check within appropriate timelines
- Completing used and new car preparation tasks
- Road testing vehicles to ensure workmanship meets required quality standards
- Accurately completing job cards to meet company and manufacturer expectations
- Maintaining workshop tools and equipment to ensure safety and compliance
Skills & Experience Required
- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Previous experience in a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under time pressures
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality work
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions competently
- Relevant formal qualifications (essential)
- MOT Licence and experience with Škoda or VWG brands (preferred but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
