H&M Security Services Ltd is recruiting experienced CCTV Control Room Operators to join our team on a major infrastructure and construction project.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a professional security operation supporting one of the UK's largest construction projects. The successful candidates will play a key role in protecting people, assets and critical infrastructure through proactive CCTV monitoring, incident management and coordination with site-based security teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor multiple CCTV systems across a large construction project.
- Identify and respond to security incidents, unauthorised access, suspicious activity and health & safety concerns.
- Dispatch and communicate with on-site security officers and mobile patrol teams.
- Maintain accurate incident logs, reports and shift handovers.
- Monitor alarms, access control systems and other security technologies.
- Escalate incidents in line with site procedures and client requirements.
- Liaise with site management, emergency services and the company Control Room where required.
- Produce professional written reports and maintain detailed records.
Essential Requirements
- Valid SIA CCTV Licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT skills and ability to operate multiple systems simultaneously.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
- Good attention to detail and report-writing ability.
- Flexible approach to working shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
Desirable
- Previous experience within a security control room environment.
- Experience working on construction, infrastructure, utilities or major project sites.
- First Aid qualification.
- Knowledge of access control and incident management systems.
