Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced Cleaner to join our team to maintain the high standards of cleanliness in a large office space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all communal areas including floors, carpets, entrance areas, kitchens and toilets are kept clean, tidy, creating a clean environment for office workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Communal Areas: Clean and maintain all communal areas of the building, including but not limited to the entrance hall, corridors, stairways, lifts, co-working spaces, and lobby areas.
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot clean carpets, tiles, and other floor surfaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
- Dusting and Surface Cleaning: Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including windowsills, railings, handrails, light fittings, and furniture.
- Sanitation: Regularly sanitize high-touch surfaces such as door handles, lift buttons, and handrails..
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines when using cleaning products and equipment. Ensure the safety of residents and visitors by maintaining clear, unobstructed walkways.
- Reporting Issues: Report any maintenance issues or damage to the management team promptly.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally in office setting.
- Ability to work independently, with excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in cleaning.
- A good eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude when interacting with residents and team members.
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
