Salary: £28,922 per annum. Plus generous benefits, including:

About the role
This role is pivotal in supporting student achievement, progression, and personal development. As a key point of contact between the College, students, parents/carers, and employers, you will help learners maximise their potential, achieve ambitious goals, and successfully progress to their next destination.
Working closely with curriculum teams, you will provide coaching, guidance, and pastoral support to ensure learners remain engaged, attend regularly, perform to the best of their ability, and enjoy a positive learning experience.
The role involves delivering both individual and group Professional Development tutorials, creating engaging learning resources, and monitoring academic, personal, and career-related progress. You will support students in developing as independent learners while helping them plan and prepare for higher education, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities.
About you
You will be passionate about supporting student success and committed to helping learners overcome challenges, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.
You will have:
- Experience of working with 16-18-year-old and/or adult learners and an understanding of their educational, personal, and developmental needs.
- Experience of effective liaison, coordination, and partnership working, ideally within an education or training environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents/carers, and employers.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload effectively.
- The ability to motivate, inspire, and coach students to achieve their goals.
- Experience of using and analysing data to inform interventions and improve outcomes.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach to supporting student achievement and progression.
- Experience of supporting UCAS applications, Higher Education progression, apprenticeships, and employment pathways is desirable but not essential.
