Customer & Recycling Advisor
Location: Cardiff
Pay: £13.47 per hour
Hours: Tuesday - Friday | 8:15am - 6:00pm
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
We're recruiting Customer & Recycling Advisors to support the day-to-day operation of busy recycling centres across Cardiff.
You'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing a friendly welcome, offering advice on recycling, and helping ensure every visit is safe, efficient and positive.
This is an active, outdoor role that combines customer service with practical site duties.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers using the recycling centre.
- Provide advice on recycling and waste disposal.
- Direct site traffic safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
- Carry out manual handling duties.
- Work as part of a busy team to keep the site running efficiently.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Happy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling.
- Flexible to work across multiple recycling facilities when required.
- Reliable, hardworking and a positive team player.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people with a great attitude who enjoy helping others and take pride in delivering excellent service. Previous experience in customer service, waste management, recycling or similar environments is beneficial, but not essential.
