We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in hair styling, customer service, and salon management while working alongside experienced professionals. Responsibilities
- Assist senior stylists with haircutting, styling, and coloring techniques to gain hands-on experience
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and ensuring a positive salon experience
- Support the front desk team with appointment scheduling, client check-ins, and maintaining the salon’s cleanliness
- Learn and perform hairdressing services including cutting , styling , perming and colouring
- Help with upselling retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Participate in mentoring sessions to develop technical skills and professional growth
- Maintain a tidy work environment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for hair styling, services, and customer care
- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience is not necessary
