A Fantastic Opportunity: LV Technician
As an LV Engineer you will be a fully qualified time served electrical engineer holding a level 3 City & Guilds certificate in electrical engineering along with a City & Guilds Test and Inspection 2391 (or equivalent) qualification we also require the successful candidate to hold a ‘Gold’ ECS card.
The successful candidate will be expected to have completed the 18th Edition wiring regulations and have experience with health and safety at work.
A knowledge of PLC and generator change over systems would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be expected to have experience with large LV power systems including panel installations, modifications, large containment systems and large cable terminations.
At ENWCML we cover a wide range of LV works on private client networks including all types of installations Cable installation and terminations, containment systems, panel installations, earthing systems and a knowledge of control and metering circuits.
As you would be working on the front line directly in contact with our customers, you will be expected to be well presented in our full uniform and take pride to fulfil this role proudly and professionally to provide a good company image and trust for our clients.
You will also be required to produce clear well worded maintenance reports on MS Word / Excel, a good knowledge of IT skills would be essential.

To ensure all contracts are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.
What we’re looking for

Fully qualified electrical engineer (City & Guilds Level 3)

Test and inspection City & Guilds 2931 or equivalent

BS7671 - 18th Edition

Experience of working in substations would be ideal along with authorisation codes from ENWL

Have proven experience working in the low voltage electrical industry

Are confident in the use of IT systems and equipment

Take pride and care in your work conducting works to a high standard
Are an excellent written and verbal communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills
Have the proven ability to work as part of a team
