Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Civil Engineer to lead and oversee complex civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing infrastructure developments, ensuring all projects meet regulatory standards, client specifications, and quality expectations. Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and ArcGIS.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Prepare detailed schematics, technical drawings, and system designs for infrastructure projects including roads, drainage systems, and land development schemes.
- Conduct land surveying activities and analyse survey data to inform project planning and execution.
- Oversee construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all project phases to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
- Utilise mathematical tools such as Mathcad for technical calculations and analysis to support design accuracy.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained according to organisational standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff within the team.
Experience
- Proven track record of at least 8 years in civil engineering roles with substantial experience in project management and system design.
- Extensive knowledge of CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, as well as GIS tools like ArcGIS.
- Demonstrable experience in land surveying techniques and applications within civil engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, schematics development, and infrastructure system integration.
- Prior involvement in large-scale infrastructure or land development projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills coupled with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent are preferred but not essential.

Pay: £40,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
