Assistant Property Manager – Shipley Wharf
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised Assistant Property Manager to play a key role in the launch and occupation of our newly refurbished Shipley Wharf development.
This is more than a traditional property management role. You will take the lead in helping bring our exciting new studio and office spaces to life by driving occupancy, managing enquiries, coordinating viewings, and delivering an excellent customer experience from first enquiry through to move-in.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, building relationships and working in a fast-paced environment. You'll be involved in every stage of the leasing journey while also supporting the day-to-day management of the building and wider property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the occupancy project for the newly refurbished Shipley Wharf development, working to maximise lettings of studio and office spaces.
- Manage enquiries from prospective tenants, arranging and conducting viewings and following up to convert enquiries into completed lettings.
- Build strong relationships with prospective and existing tenants, providing a professional and friendly service throughout their journey.
- Assist with the preparation of tenancy agreements, lease renewals and associated documentation.
- Raise invoices and support rent administration.
- Maintain accurate tenant and property records using Yardi or other property management software.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
- Carry out regular property inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Create and manage engaging social media content to promote available spaces and increase enquiries.
- Support marketing initiatives, open days and promotional events for the development.
- Undertake general administrative duties including filing, correspondence and appointment scheduling.
- Assist with the day-to-day management of the wider property portfolio as required.
About You

You will have:
- Previous experience in property management, lettings, estate agency or office administration.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in conducting property viewings and building relationships with prospective tenants.
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using property management software such as Yardi (desirable but not essential).
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience with social media marketing would be an advantage.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the confidence to take ownership of projects.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
