HAYGEN is an independent lifestyle store in the heart of Islington, curating a unique mix of interior and fashion products from predominantly artisans and emerging brands like Dragon Diffusion, Hunza G, Le Specs, HK Living, Anna & Nina & many more. For 15 years, we’ve built a loyal community of local and London-wide customers, and we’re looking for an exceptional Store Manager to help shape our next chapter.
This is more than a retail management role. You’ll be involved in buying, merchandising, events, marketing, team leadership, and the day-to-day running of a thriving independent business. If you’re entrepreneurial, commercially minded, and passionate about great product and customer experience, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll do:
* Lead the day-to-day running of the store
* Manage and inspire the team, including rotas and performance
* Drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service
* Oversee merchandising and stock management
* Get involved in buying and sourcing exciting new brands
* Support events, marketing initiatives, and business growth

We’re looking for someone who is:
* Fluent spoken and written English
* Experienced in retail management or has strong relevant business experience
* Organised, proactive, and highly motivated
* Commercially aware with a love of business
* Passionate about interiors, fashion, and independent brands
* A natural leader with excellent sales and people skills
* Ambitious and excited by the opportunity to make a real impact
