Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent trade accreditation.
C&G 2382 BS 7671 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
A recognised time-served electrically biased apprenticeship in a relevant engineering (electrical) discipline.
HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering (desirable).
Experience
Proven experience as an electrical/multi-skilled engineering craftsperson/technician.
Practical experience in a Food or FMCG manufacturing engineering function.
Strong problem-solving and fault diagnosis skills.
Ability to maintain high standards and make sound decisions under pressure.
Skills & Knowledge
Health & Safety requirements for engineering.
Working knowledge of CMMS.
Broad understanding of engineering disciplines.
Strong decision-making skills and flexibility to work independently or in a team.
PC literate and comfortable with technical documentation.
Knowledge of Bakery Production, Maintenance Techniques, Continuous Improvement, PLC control systems, and automated machinery.
