Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Dentist to join our busy NHS dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their oral health and overall wellbeing.
The position is paid and suitable for both newly qualified dentists and experienced practitioners looking to expand their clinical expertise within a supportive practice.
There is scope for private work, however we are in a high demand area with a large NHS patient base. We will pay £14 per UDA and 50:50 Private and lab bill split.
Availability
part time - Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8-5.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues using clinical assessment and medical imaging tools.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic procedures.
- Perform a wide range of dental treatments such as fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, crowns, and implants.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Dentist registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple patients efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively explain treatment options and procedures to patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining high standards of patient care.
The role hopes to create a positive working environment with a team of fully qualified nurses including an oral hygiene nurse, dental therapist and hygienist.
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
