The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with class teachers to create positive, engaging learning environments where every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Roles are available across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils academically, socially and emotionally while helping to create inclusive classrooms where children feel confident, supported and encouraged.
Depending on your experience and preferences, you may work with whole classes, small intervention groups, or provide one-to-one support for individual pupils.
Your Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
- Help create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support children with a range of learning needs and abilities.
- Encourage positive behaviour and build strong relationships with pupils.
- Assist with classroom preparation and organisation.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, school staff and families to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
- Promote children's confidence, independence and wellbeing throughout the school day.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable individuals who have:
- Experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them succeed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy and a positive attitude.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the flexibility to adapt to different classroom environments.

Experience supporting children with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or SEMH, is highly valued but not essential.
