Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, with a strong focus on quality and food safety. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of deli products while ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers.
Duties
- Prepare and serve deli items in accordance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling products when appropriate.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours while managing time effectively.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management to ensure fresh products are always available.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, showcasing familiarity with food preparation and safety practices.
- Culinary experience is an advantage but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
