About the Role
Gray Healthcare is recruiting a Male Support Worker to support a gentleman in his 30s living independently in his own home in Wistaston, Crewe. He has diagnoses of Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Epilepsy and receives 2:1 support, 24 hours a day from a dedicated male support team.
This is a highly rewarding, person-centred role focused on promoting independence, wellbeing, and meaningful community participation. The individual has a great sense of humour and enjoys spending time in the community, including car journeys and bowling trips.
A full UK automatic driving licence is essential, as the individual has access to a mobility vehicle to access the community.

What We're Looking For
-
Experience working within Health and Social Care.

Experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and/or complex health needs.

Experience supporting individuals whose behaviours may be considered challenging.

Experience implementing support plans, care plans, and risk assessments.

Full UK Automatic Driving Licence.

Good communication, literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.

A calm, resilient, and person-centred approach.

Current Right to Work in the UK.

Minimum of 6 months employment history within the UK.
Desirable

Previous experience supporting individuals with Epilepsy.

Working Hours

24-hour contract
-
2x 12-hour day shifts per week (8:00am to 8:00pm)
-
1 sleep shift per week (8:00pm to 8:00am) paid at £100 per sleep
