Starting rate £12.71 per hour

Our site based in “WORKINGTON” produces a range of products such as tiger rolls, morning rolls, ciabatta, paninis, thins and scones for some of the leading supermarkets across the U.K. We are presently looking to recruit a small number of food production operatives to join the team, to assist in process of producing, picking and packing our products ready for store delivery.
The role will suit candidates who have worked for a small or medium company and are willing to work in a hands-on varied role, previous Food Industry experience is desirable.

Daily Responsibilities:
Weighing up Ingredients.
Quality checking of products/packaging
Manoeuvring biga tubes up to 45kg to production lines.
Operating machinery-Line set-up/flo-wrap/box erector etc.
Pulling/Pushing Racks
Picking/packing finished products to strict deadlines.
Loading/Unloading Industrial ovens.
Palletising orders ready for despatch.
Following customer specification guidelines
Complying with Food Safety/ Health & Safety requirements.
Clean as you go within working area.
Skills Required
Must be of minimum required age for general rules of employment
Team Player
Basic English communication/understanding
Ability to work under pressure
Good Maths skills
Good attitude to work
Previous manufacturing experience an advantage
Ability to work in fast pace environment
