Salary: £29,307.20 per year
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

The Role:
As a Toddler Room Leader, you’ll lead and support a team of practitioners and apprentices, helping to create an enabling and stimulating environment where children can flourish.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Supervise and lead a team of practitioners and apprentices within your room.
- Support and develop your team, identifying knowledge gaps and working with the Nursery Manager to provide appropriate training.
- Ensure reporting is accurate, up to date and completed to the required standard.
- Participate in and, where appropriate, lead staff training, meetings, workshops and open days.
- Ensure your key children are encouraged and supported to flourish within a nurturing, stimulating environment.
- Create outstanding play and learning experiences that support children’s development.
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of safeguarding within the nursery.
- Report any safeguarding concerns or breaches of policy immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for an experienced early years professional who brings energy, leadership and a genuine passion for supporting children and developing others.
Essential
- Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- At least 1 year’s experience working in a day nursery with children under 2.
- Experience supporting or leading other practitioners.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and education.
- A commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of children.
