Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar/ Restaurant Manager to oversee our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bartending and team management, ensuring a high standard of service and a vibrant atmosphere for our guests. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations within the hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train bar staff, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and controlling stock to minimise waste.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative drink menus that complement food offerings.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations within the bar area.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and restaurant area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist in planning promotional events and offers to enhance the bar's visibility and attract new customers.

Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
- Knowledge of food preparation and production processes is advantageous.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for culinary arts and beverage trends is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
