Key Responsibilities Diverse Cleaning Services: Execute a wide range of jobs, including commercial maintenance, standard deep cleaning, and specialist biohazard/decontamination work. Vulnerable Client Support: Approach sensitive jobs with empathy, discretion, and mental health awareness, understanding how to interact respectfully with vulnerable or distressed individuals. Tool & Equipment Operation: Safely operate power tools and specialized cleaning machinery (e.g., floor polishers, surface preparation tools, fogging equipment) as well as hand tools for detailed scrubbing and polishing. Minor Repairs & Site Support: Use light construction or maintenance experience to perform minor repairs or prep work that support site restoration and cleanliness. Safety & Compliance: Strictly follow safety procedures, COSHH regulations, and site protocols across all job types to keep yourself, your team, and our clients safe. Site Setup & Breakdown: Assist with setting up work zones, cleaning stations, or containment areas depending on the nature of the job. Team Collaboration: Work alongside a supportive team to manage workloads, prioritize tasks, and complete projects efficiently. What We’re Looking For Mental Health Awareness: Demonstrated emotional intelligence, empathy, and patience when working around or supporting vulnerable clients. Versatile Cleaning Experience: Proven experience in commercial, standard, or industrial cleaning. Specialist biohazard experience is a plus, but a strong willingness to learn is equally valued. Hand & Power Tool Skills: Confidence and safety in using basic hand tools and powered cleaning/maintenance equipment. Construction/Maintenance Background: Prior experience in construction or minor property maintenance is highly desirable for handling light repairs. Adaptability & Attention to Detail: Ability to seamlessly switch gears between standard commercial environments and sensitive specialist jobs with high attention to detail. Strong Communication & Discretion: A professional, respectful, and non-judgmental attitude at all times.
Pay: £13.50-£18.00 per hour
