Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner / Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children within a nurturing and stimulating environment. Duties
- Plan, organise, and deliver engaging activities that promote children’s learning and development in accordance with early childhood education standards.
- Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development through attentive care and interaction.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.
- Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues to support individualised learning plans.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members through effective communication.
- Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes, nap times, and outdoor play sessions.
- Contribute to the organisation of nursery activities, outings, and special events.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including safeguarding policies.
- Support team management by providing leadership when required and mentoring new or less experienced staff members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development stages.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Management or leadership experience is desirable but not essential; willingness to develop these skills is valued.
- Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred.
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for organising outings or travel between sites.
- A caring attitude combined with organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development within early years education.

Pay: £25,420.00-£42,940.42 per year
