Halfpenny Green Wine Estate has been producing award-wining English wines for over 30 years.
Situated in South Staffordshire, we're one of the largest vineyards outside of the South of England - and we are still growing!
Our onsite farm shop & deli stocks a full range of our wines as well as an extensive selection of spirts, gifts, preserves, chocolates, cheese & much more.
In addition, our Wine Loft, located in the shop, offers an array of tastings, wine, gin, rum & whisky as well as our Balcony Bar serving drinks & tapas.
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Shop Manager to join our team.
The successful applicant will report to our Shop Manager & will be responsible for the day to day running of our Wine Loft as well as assisting in the running of our main retail areas.
The successful applicant will need:-
- Extensive computer skills, especially with EPOS systems
- A passion for food & drink
- Experience in retail & hospitality would be advantageous
- A commitment to provide excellent customer service
- Strong leadership skills & the ability to motivate & train other staff
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Own transport, due to location
As the Wine Estate is open 7 days per week, weekend & bank holiday working is required.
Salary is negotiable dependant upon experience
