About the Role
Crossroads (Barnsley) Ltd is looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Care Support Workers to join our team. The role involves supporting individuals within their own homes and the community to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
You will provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs, helping people with daily living activities while promoting choice, wellbeing, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and practical support where required
- Supporting individuals with daily living activities, including meal preparation and medication prompts
- Encouraging independence and community participation
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately
- Building positive and professional relationships with service users, families, and colleagues
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies at all times
Requirements
- Caring, compassionate, and patient nature
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Enhanced DBS check required
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable but not essential

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
