We're looking for an experienced Group AV Operations Manager to lead and strengthen our operational delivery across the business. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently.

The Role
As Group AV Operations Manager, you'll oversee the operational planning of our AV, exhibition and studio divisions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, resources are managed effectively and our teams have everything they need to succeed.
Working alongside the Directors and senior management team, you'll improve operational efficiency, support project delivery and help build the systems that allow the business to continue growing.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Resource Planning
- Coordinate freelance and permanent resources across all divisions.
- Manage crew scheduling and availability.
- Develop and maintain a trusted freelancer network.
- Forecast staffing requirements.
- Support recruitment and onboarding.
Logistics & Equipment
- Plan transport and logistics for multiple projects.
- Coordinate equipment movements between warehouse, studios and venues.
- Ensure equipment is prepared, maintained and available.
- Work closely with warehouse and studio teams.
Operational Excellence
- Improve internal processes and workflows.
- Develop operational documentation and checklists.
- Introduce systems that improve efficiency and visibility.
- Support project scheduling and resource planning.
Team Management
- Work closely with Account Managers, Project Managers and Department Heads.
- Support internal communication across departments.
- Build strong relationships with freelancers and suppliers.
- Help create a positive and collaborative working environment.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure projects are delivered to a consistently high standard.
- Support Health & Safety compliance.
- Review completed projects and identify improvements.
- Help implement operational best practice across the business.
About You
You'll be highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing multiple moving parts simultaneously.
You'll ideally have experience within one or more of the following:
- AV Production
- Live Events
- Exhibition Stand Build
- Broadcast
- Studio Operations
- Production Management
Essential Requirements
- Previous Operations Management experience.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Experience managing crews, logistics or production resources.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.
- Calm under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Experience
- Exhibition industry experience.
- AV equipment knowledge.
- Studio or broadcast experience.
- Warehouse operations.
- Current RMS or similar hire software.
- Health & Safety knowledge.
