HGV Class 1 Curtainsider Tramper Drivers Needed
Jaxdene Solutions is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Curtainsider Tramper Drivers for ongoing work based in Diss.
We are looking for professional, reliable, and safety-conscious drivers to join our logistics team. Successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of vehicle care, compliance, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 curtainsider vehicles.
- Deliver goods to designated locations in line with delivery schedules.
- Plan routes efficiently while adhering to driver hours and transport regulations.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Secure loads correctly to ensure safe transportation.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
- Communicate effectively with transport and dispatch teams.
- Follow all company procedures and road safety legislation.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and road worthiness.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and transport legislation
- Curtainsider experience
- Reliable and professional attitude
Pay Rates
- Day Drivers: £19 per hour
- Tramper Drivers: £19 per hour + £25 nightly allowance
- Weekly pay
- LTD or PAYE
- Immediate starts for suitable candidates
