This is a home based role covering the Northern region, with regular travel required to properties across the North of England. The portfolio includes homes in Liverpool, Blackpool, Manchester, Bradford, Leeds, North Yorkshire, Sunderland and Newcastle upon Tyne. Expected onsite 3 days per week.
You will be responsible for the effective delivery of planned works and void works programmes across the region, ensuring works are completed to the required quality, cost & timescales. You will also apply your technical knowledge & experience to assess, specify and oversee major and complex repairs.
Regular property and site inspections will form a key part of the role. These will include undertaking and/or supporting:
- Fire Risk Assessments (FRA's)
- Asbestos management reviews
- Stock condition surveys
- Planned works surveys & inspections
- Void management
- Technical inspections relating to major repairs
- Have a good knowledge of how a project works from initiation to closure
- Work, handle & effectively monitor budgets for each planned works.
- Update the CAFM system as needed
- Provide details of Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day delivery of repair services for jobs over £1k via external contractors, ensuring quality, timeliness, and value for money.
- Support and collaborate with Regional Surveyors in their roles across geographical areas.
- Working closely with the Head of Strategic Asset Management, implement the Investment Programme on time and within budget.
- Working with the Head of Health and Safety and Compliance, undertaking Fire Risk Assessment and Asbestos Re-Inspections ensure resulting actions are completed.
- Working with the Head of Repairs, manage the delivery of repairs that evolve into major works.
- Support the coordination of Planned and void Works programmes, aligned with long-term asset strategy.
- Assist in procurement and tendering processes for repairs and planned works, ensuring compliance with financial and procurement regulations.

Full Time 35 hrs per week. £40,000 to £46,000 depending on training & experience plus a + £5,500 car allowance
