Job Title: OperationsManager
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, leading globalprovider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, arerecruiting an Operations Manager to join the team located in Birmingham .
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing and leading the team ofRegional Managers dedicated to the State Street account who provide guidanceand support to the FM delivery team.
Ensure team members are continually improving levelsof service delivery, drawing on industry best practice setting a high benchmarkfor the FM’s to deliver to in each respective area. Ensure continual client focus across allareas.
Provide governance and strategic oversight, ensuringcompliance to the Master Services Agreement. Direct the team in implementing standard procedures and a cycle ofcontinuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Be theprimary strategic and operational support point for the Account Director
§ Oversee alloperational activity across the contract.
§ Oversee andfulfil all client reporting activities.
§ Manage theteam to a transparent set of shared objectives.
§ Managetalent recruitment and retention, including training requirements andperformance management.
§ Drivesuperior account performance to support the client business and contractualobjectives. Develop short and long termobjectives to enhance service delivery levels, measure, deliver and reportagainst these.
§ Ensure fullcontract compliance on operational, risk, and compliance matters
§ Measure thecontract’s performance against agreed targets and scorecard compliance
§ Lead byexample in all supply partner relationships, ensuring all team members aremanaging and partnering with vendors professionally and efficiently, buildingbest in class relationships.
§ Oversee allvendor relationships.
§ Ensure StateStreet – CBRE debt is well managed and maintained to a minimum. Ensure the same for vendor partners.
§ EnsureCBRE’s technology platform is optimised to support the client’s operationalneeds and commercial value
§ Driveforward platform efficiencies within the account platform
§ Ensure allaccount Playbooks are evergreen and meeting the needs of the account
§ Provideleadership and day to day management of the infrastructure functions of thebusiness, with functional leads reporting in. Ensure functionalobjectives are aligned with the client priorities and the wider functionalpriorities of CBRE
KeySkills / Experience /Requirements:
§ The abilityto work at pace, dynamically, whilst focussing on core deliverables, withregular re-prioritisation and an ability to deliver under pressure.
§ Have workedas a COO or Senior Facilities Manager for a minimum of 5 years in a blue chipcorporate or professional service firm
§ Experienceworking in corporate real estate or a facilities management company
§ Procurementexperience is required
§ Demonstratedexperience in managing large teams.
§ Experiencein the areas of H&S and Energy Management a distinct advantage
§ Experiencein delivering large scale change programmes an advantage
§ Skillsshould include organisational development, personnel management, budget andresource development, and strategic planning
§ Excellentpeople skills, with an ability to lead and support a dynamic leadership team
§ Successfultrack record of working in international corporate businesses
