About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Events Manager to join us at our brand new facility. The role will require some evening and weekend work.
Objectives of this Role:
- Build relationships with customers, their families and their friends.
- Help to expand the FTY Lab and the services we provide.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain the normal-week, holiday week and special events calendars.
- Schedule Open Play, parties, private hire, school sessions, camps, tournaments and community programmes.
- Apply booking priority rules and prevent double-booking of pitch, equipment, gaming and party spaces.
- Develop event briefs, staffing plans, customer itineraries and operational checklists.
- Own birthday-party, private-hire and event delivery standards.
- Monitor capacity, attendance, revenue, direct cost and contribution by activity.
- Coordinate event requirements with Operations, Football, Marketing, Technical and hospitality partners.
- Manage event enquiries, proposals and handover from sale to delivery.
- Review low-performing time slots and recommend programme, pricing or promotion changes.
- Ensure event risk assessments, safeguarding and licensing requirements are met.
- Own the local membership sales process from enquiry, tour and trial through to payment and activation.
- Manage FTY ID registration, member onboarding, welcome communications and first-use support.
- Track lead sources, contact attempts, conversion stages and reasons for loss.
- Maintain CRM data quality, consent records and customer communication preferences.
- Monitor attendance, engagement, renewal risk and cancellation requests.
- Deliver retention activity, win-back campaigns, upgrades and relevant add-on sales.
- Train customer-facing staff in memberships, product knowledge and sales standards.
- Gather member feedback and work with venue teams to resolve recurring experience issues.
Candidate requirements:
- Previous Events Management experience
- Enhanced DBS/CRC.
- First Aid at work (preferred).
- Eligible to Work in the UK.
- Happy and positive personality/outlook.
- Strong customer service skills.
