Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitised to meet health and safety standards
- Support with the organisation and storage of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout shifts
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with company policies
- Support the serving staff during service times when required, including delivering food to tables or assisting with setting up dining areas
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to uphold a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations is desirable
- Experience in serving or working within a busy hospitality setting is beneficial
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role
