Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated fabricator/Fitter to join our manufacturing/ installation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, various architectural and secondary/ structural metal components, ensuring precision and quality in all tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with Experience in architectural/ secondary/ structural metalwork preferred. The position is paid and suitable for applicants committed to safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to assemble components accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools,
- Conduct routine inspections of fabricated parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during installation processes.
- Cards/ industrial qualifications such as SSSTS, IPAF, PASMA, Slinger Banksman etc advantageous
- Driving Licence preferred
Skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Strong understanding of metal work.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge with the capacity to interpret engineering instructions.
