We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support our Kitchen team in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation and service areas, contributing to the overall guest experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience within the hospitality industry and developing their culinary skills.
THE ROLE
- Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support chefs and kitchen staff.
- Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to ensure a safe and organised environment.
- Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Supporting the rest of the kitchen team during busy service periods by restocking supplies and organising storage areas.
- Ensuring all health and safety policies are adhered to at all times to prevent accidents or contamination.
