Sales Surveyor – Shutters & Blinds | OTE £60,000–£70,000 | Peterborough

Stilton Shutters & Blinds is Peterborough's specialist in made-to-measure shutters, blinds, curtains and awnings. Our order book is growing and we need a Sales Surveyor who can walk into a customer's home, measure with precision, and close the sale on the spot.
This is not a canvassing role. Appointments are booked for you — warm customers who have already asked us to visit. Your job is to turn those appointments into signed orders.
What you'll do
- Attend pre-booked in-home appointments across Peterborough and surrounding areas
- Survey and measure windows accurately for made-to-measure products
- Advise customers on product options, present quotes, and close sales in the home
- Hand over clean, accurate survey details to our back office and fitting teams
- Own your results: your conversion rate and order values drive your earnings
What you'll earn
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission on every sold order
- Realistic OTE of £60,000–£70,000
- 3–5 days per week — we'll shape the diary around the right person
- Mileage and equipment provided
Who we're looking for
- A proven in-home or face-to-face seller — retail, home improvement, windows/doors, kitchens or similar
- Presentable, articulate and instantly credible with homeowners
- Meticulous attention to detail — in this trade, a wrong measurement costs real money
- Results-driven with a bias for action: you chase the close, not the excuse
- Mature, self-managing, and comfortable owning your own diary
- Full UK driving licence
- Bonus: experience measuring or selling shutters, blinds or made-to-measure products
