Concept Projects Group is looking for a proactive and motivated Labourer to join our growing construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within the construction industry and gain experience working on a variety of industrial, engineering, civil, and fit-out projects across the North West. Based primarily in the Wirral area, you will work alongside experienced multi-trade operatives, builders, and site supervisors, supporting the delivery of high-quality projects while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
The Role
As a Labourer, you will play a key role in supporting site operations and ensuring projects run efficiently. You will be involved in a wide range of duties, from preparing work areas and handling materials to assisting skilled tradespeople and maintaining a safe, clean working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting skilled tradespeople on site
- Preparing work areas before tasks begin
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment
- Carrying out basic demolition and strip-out works
- Keeping sites clean, organised, and hazard-free
- Setting up and dismantling temporary site protection and barriers
- Using basic hand and power tools under supervision
- Following site health and safety procedures at all times
- Wearing and maintaining PPE correctly
- Assisting with deliveries and checking materials
- Removing waste and supporting recycling initiatives
- Reporting hazards, defects, or unsafe conditions to supervisors

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Interest in construction and practical work
- General maintenance skills or willingness to develop them
- Good communication skills and confidence interacting with clients
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Strong organisational skills
- A team-focused approach
- Flexibility to travel to sites across the North West
