Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the smooth operation of catering services, ensuring high standards of food presentation and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and presentation in accordance with health and safety standards
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, and service stations
- Ensure food safety procedures are adhered to at all times
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service delivery
- Provide excellent guest services by attending to customer needs promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless catering experiences for events and functions
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality, catering environments is desirable
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation standards
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy setting
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Previous experience is advantageous but not essential
- Flexibility to adapt to varying shifts and event schedules
