What does the average day look like?
On a typical day, you will work closely with the payroll team to manage costing activities, complete balance sheet reconciliations, and respond to payroll and pension-related queries.
While supporting period-end processes, ensure compliance with internal controls and service levels, analyse and recharge costs to budget holders, and contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
A little bit about the team...
The Accounting & Compliance Team are a small team but play a vital part in assisting with Payroll running smoothly. We work to tight deadlines so managing your own workload is crucial as well as being a team player. The role is varied and will have ample opportunities to expand knowledge and learn different processes across the team.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a confident and detail-oriented individual with strong Excel skills, including the use of formulas, and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused team player who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working collaboratively with colleagues. They will be comfortable participating in meetings, managing queries professionally, and demonstrating a proactive approach to delivering high-quality results.
Essential Criteria
¿ Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
¿ Working towards membership of a relevant professional body, with relevant experience or possession of sufficient experience to fulfil the requirements of the role
¿ Good Numerical Skills.
