Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to various locations within designated routes.
- Load and unload items
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, team members, and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure transportation.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection records.
- Assist with other logistical tasks as needed to support smooth daily operations during the summer season.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery or commercial driver preferred; familiarity with delivery routes is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues early.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours during the summer period.
