We are seeking a passionate and energetic Assistant Netball Coach to join our dynamic sports program. Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging netball training sessions tailored to various skill levels.
- Support head coaches in developing game strategies, drills, and practice routines
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to players during training and matches
- Help monitor athlete progress, identify areas for improvement, and support individual development plans
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive communication among players on and off the court
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities and maintain a safe environment for everyone involved
- Contribute to organizing team events, fixtures, and community outreach initiatives
Skills
- Proven sports coaching experience with a focus on netball or similar team sports
- Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to motivate and engage diverse groups of athletes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback
- Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, players, and staff in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of netball rules, techniques, and game strategies is highly desirable
- Enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for sports education and athlete development
