Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm, with flexibility required and participation in 1–2 Sunday shifts per month.

Key Production Team Leader Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop the Production Department team to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
- Set clear daily objectives and provide regular feedback to support individual development.
- Motivate the team to achieve production, quality and efficiency targets.
- Ensure all products are manufactured in line with food safety, quality and customer standards.
- Monitor daily production performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, yield and productivity.
- Plan and schedule production activities to meet business and customer demand.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, food safety and environmental compliance at all times.
- Monitor employee safety and promote a positive safety culture throughout the department.
- Ensure company policies and operational procedures are consistently followed.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure production plans are achieved.
- Resolve day-to-day production issues quickly and effectively to minimise downtime.
- Complete production documentation accurately and maintain operational records.
Production Team Leader Requirements:
Essential:
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing or food processing environment.
- Proven experience leading, supervising or mentoring a production team.
- Strong people management and motivational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Practical and proactive approach to problem solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working to tight production deadlines.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including 1–2 Sunday shifts per month.
Desirable:
- Level 2 Food Safety qualification (training can be provided if required).
- Experience monitoring production KPIs including yield, efficiency and productivity.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Confidence using production systems and completing manufacturing documentation.
