Roffey Park Venue is a well established conference, training and events venue set within 40 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences for our corporate clients, private events and weddings, with outstanding service at the heart of everything we do.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Conference & Events Coordinator to join our Venue Sales team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, has excellent attention to detail and loves seeing an event through from the initial enquiry to the day it takes place.
The Role
You will be responsible for coordinating conferences, meetings and events from enquiry through to delivery, ensuring every detail is planned to the highest standard.
Working closely with clients and our operational teams, you will ensure every event runs smoothly while providing outstanding customer service throughout the booking journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to conference and event enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare proposals, contracts and event documentation.
- Coordinate all aspects of client bookings from confirmation through to delivery.
- Conduct venue showrounds for prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Liaise with Hospitality, Reception, Reservations, Kitchen and Operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Support sales activity and help identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Maintain accurate records using our booking systems.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in conference, events, hospitality or hotel sales.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Rezlynx would be an advantage, although training will be provided.
