DGB Cleaning Services is a rapidly expanding cleaning and facilities management company based in Watford. We provide professional cleaning services across construction sites, residential developments, schools, offices, and commercial properties throughout the South East.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and dependable Personal Assistant / Administrator to work closely with the Director and support the day-to-day running of the company.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, takes pride in being organised, and wants to play a key part in the growth of a successful business. No two days are the same, and you'll be involved in many aspects of the company's operations.
The Role
You will act as the Director's right-hand person, helping to keep the business organised, efficient, and running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and sending quotations, contracts, reports, and other business documents.
- Managing emails, enquiries, and communications from clients, suppliers, and staff.
- Liaising with cleaning operatives and site supervisors regarding schedules, staffing, and operational requirements.
- Supporting the Director with daily administrative and operational tasks.
- Maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and company documentation.
- Ordering cleaning products, equipment, and materials.
- Uploading receipts and financial information to Xero and Dext.
- Assisting with recruitment, including arranging interviews, onboarding new staff, and maintaining personnel records.
- Booking training courses and ensuring compliance records remain up to date.
- Conducting occasional site visits, surveys, inspections, and deliveries when required.
- Assisting with diary management, meeting arrangements, and general business administration.
- Supporting marketing activities and social media updates where required.

Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Previous administration, office management, PA, or executive assistant experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Desirable:
- Experience using Xero, Dext, or similar accounting software.
- Experience working within the cleaning, facilities management, construction, or service industry sectors.
- Marketing or social media experience.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
