Alba Dewatering Services Ltd. is recruiting a yardperson to help provide support for our civil engineering projects.
With over 30 years’ experience in the design, supply and installation of groundwater control systems, Alba Dewatering Services is able to offer unmatched levels of knowledge and expertise with ‘real world solutions’ to your groundwater problems.
Our services encompass all aspects of a project's needs from consultation, design and installation to training, analysis, monitoring, maintenance and project management for a wide range of challenges and in wide variety of sectors. Based in South Derbyshire, we take advantage of being positioned within the Midlands and have quick access to all major motorways, which allows us to service the entirety of the UK market.
Our experiences have been gained by working on major projects within the UK and throughout the world.
As part of our continued expansion, we are recruiting for an a yard person to join the team. As part of this role, you should be confident in being able to fulfil the below criteria:
· Work under the yard manager, picking orders, counting stock, tidying yard.
· To be able to complete accurate paperwork and timesheets in a punctual manner
· Use of a FLT, manual handling task. working outside in all weathers when required
· Pass randomly administered drug tests
· To be able to work as part of a team as well as alone unaided
Experience and Certifications
- Driving Licence
- FLT Licence
As part of this role, we also offer the following benefits:
· Pay starts at £14 p/hr
· All PPE is supplied as standard and in line with government regulations.
· Successful applicants will be on the books for 40hrs a week minimum, with an additional holiday and sick pay allowance.
· Time and a half is offered after 8 hours of work and on Saturdays. Double time is offered on Sundays.
· A £25 ‘night out’ allowance tax free, with all accommodation paid for where applicable.
