We're now looking for a Transport first line manager to play a key role in our transport logistics operation.
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Lead and motivate Drivers and direct reports within a fast-paced transport operation, ensuring high levels of performance, safety, and service delivery.
- Drive compliance with transport legislation, operational standards, and customer KPIs, maintaining excellence across all aspects of the operation.
- Manage employee relations, including attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters, while promoting adherence to the DHL Code of Conduct and company values.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by recognizing achievements, celebrating success, and encouraging continuous improvement.
- Support, coach, and develop direct reports, driving colleague engagement and building strong relationships across site teams to enhance collaboration and operational effectiveness.
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Experience within a logistics environment, preferably in a tri-temperature operation.
- Proactive and able to work under pressure
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
