We are looking for individuals who are reliable, proactive, and confident in supporting vulnerable adults across a range of care environments, including residential settings, supported living services, and specialist units.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to live as independently and safely as possible. You will provide practical, emotional, and social support while maintaining dignity, respect, and safeguarding at all times.
This is a hands-on and rewarding position suited to individuals who are resilient, empathetic, and committed to high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver Person-Centred Support
· Provide care and support in line with individual care plans.
· Promote independence, choice, and inclusion.
· Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and mobility support where required.
Promote Health & Wellbeing
- Support individuals with medication prompts (in line with training and policy).
- Monitor and report any changes in physical or mental health.
- Encourage participation in social and community activities.
Behaviour & Emotional Support
- Support individuals who may present with behaviours of concern.
- Apply de-escalation techniques where necessary.
- Maintain a calm and professional approach in challenging situations.
Maintain Professional Standards
- Accurately complete care notes and documentation.
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
Ensure Compliance & Safety
- Adhere strictly to organisational policies and regulatory standards.
- Always uphold confidentiality and professional boundaries.

- Previous experience in a support or care role (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and resilient approach.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights if required.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
